Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before using our website or enquiring about our products and services.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of codexium.dev (the "Website"), which is operated by Codexium (Pvt) Ltd ("Codexium", "we", "us"). By using the Website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the Website is for

The Website provides information about our software products, custom development services and past work, and lets you contact us. Information on the Website is general and does not by itself form an offer or a contract.

3. Services and products

Any custom development work, product licence, subscription, hosting or support is provided under a separate written quotation or agreement between you and Codexium. Scope, timelines, fees, payment terms, ownership and support are set out in that document. If it conflicts with these terms, the agreement for that work applies.

Product descriptions, features, screenshots and sample figures on the Website are illustrative. They may change, and they do not promise that a particular feature will be included.

4. Quotations and enquiries

Sending an enquiry through the Website does not create a contract. We will reply with next steps and, where appropriate, a quotation. Work begins only after both sides agree to it in writing.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Website you agree not to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone else's rights,
  • submit false, misleading or unlawful content through our forms,
  • attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Website or our systems,
  • use automated tools to scrape the Website or send spam through it.

6. Intellectual property

The Website, including its text, design, logos, graphics and code, belongs to Codexium or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and share pages for personal or business reference, but you may not copy, modify or reuse our materials for other purposes without our written permission.

Names, logos and screenshots of client projects belong to their respective owners and are shown to describe our work.

7. Third-party links

The Website links to sites we do not control, such as client websites and social media pages. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

8. Disclaimer

We work to keep the Website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codexium is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of the Website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
